Hey Jeff-
ReplyDeleteThanks for undertaking this. I look forward to seeing (and hearing) what you'll be putting up.
Adem
Thanks Adem, glad you're supportive of this idea. Now how about those Godbone demos?
ReplyDeleteWell, I gotta look into that. If I can round up a copy would you be able to digitize it and all that?
ReplyDeleteI can digitize from VHS, DVD, CD/CD-R, Cassette, LP or Blu-Ray. If it's a DAT, I'll figure something out. Might have a DAT deck where I work that I could use to bump it to CD-R.
ReplyDeleteI've got some pre-bruno billy-jack if you want it, or even better a copy of their "wrestling the bald-headed champ" with Bruno singing and Joe Brooks drumming. I'd want to talk to wayne first to make sure it was cool to put up, but i really don't think he'd mind.
ReplyDeleteHey Karlo, Wayne is actually a good friend of mine and I have the stuff you're talking about. The thing I really wish Wayne would find is the 4-track demos that I recorded of them when they still had Bob the keyboard player. I think those would be the earliest Billy Jack recordings as they were easily a year older than the No Job Too Big For This Thirsty Lover cassette. I'll ask Wayne if he'd mind me posting some stuff, I think he may have already given me the okay a few months back.
